Logic Pro SWAM for iPad, the Ultimate Duo!
So close, too much ‘tonging’. Would this be improved by using an electronic wind instrument and breath control?
That's the player's choice. He could remap the velocity to have smoother tonguing, or act on parameters like Attack Start, Attack Control. With a Breath or Wind Controller you can reach the desired results; check this: ua-cam.com/video/8eHnFqXThpw/v-deo.htmlsi=EbtaHDvqG1AGqg1G
@@AudioModeling thanks👍 Is there any major difference between the IOS version and the Mac?

Brilliant, thanks very much
Hello, I think you all know Jerry Hey. If you want to know how to improve this library, try to get the sound to resemble Jerry's in #1 fast notes, #2 long notes, and #3 loud notes. :-) I bought your ALL-IN library, which is worth its price. However, I feel like I am reaching its limits. As you can hear in this demo video, the fast notes do not sound realistic enough. The transients, in particular, might need improvement. The sound of sustained loudness lacks energy and also sounds too flat. But in fact, this library is fantastic. I already tested out all expression options. What do you think about my observations? My rating is hard, i know. I love your work.
Nobody ever explains what Camelot is. The vids on it show it does this or that but no explanation or description of what it is for. I watched a few and maybe we are supposed to know. I mean one said it’s a plugin but as I watched another it seemed to be more like a daw and used or exploited other plugins, is it something that is used to create scenes for live use? I don’t get it.
That’s an old video, you probably missed this: kb.audiomodeling.com/en/camelot And our tutorials: kb.audiomodeling.com/en/camelot/the-basics-of-camelot-an-overview
Brilliant.🎉🎉🎉❤
New? What did I miss?
Having not used previous version (started on v3 on iOS) I absolutely ADORE the interface. Even though I’m using it as a plugin and don’t see it often, when I do pull it up, the visuals and flow are very well crafted
his hair looks like Bon Jovi's pianist David Bryan, very cool
You're totally right! The hair is definitely giving off those David Bryan vibes. And just like his cool hair, there's a whole lot more coolness to discover at Audio Modeling - it's just the tip of the iceberg!
A company behind one of the best plugins in the world deserves better videos like those of Dr Mix or Divisimate
we have done plenty videos with Dr Mix and Divisimate, we also do these shorts for beginners
@@AudioModeling My comment wasn't meant to be mean either. I just hope the videos help people understand how powerful the software is. And with a number of videos I had the idea that it sounds much better in real life.
@@crnova7 we do offer trials on-demand, you please write to support@audiomodeling.com if you want to evaluate the plugins

Friends, does anyone know how to set up automation for vibrato, expression, growl in fl studio, if I write in piano roll? To change the sound during playback

iOS - Loopy Pro! Got one on my channel using tenor sax and tenor trombone (recorded using Velocity KB tho the vid is just the recording, not live build .. next time) Waiting with baited breath for a possible July sale (as trend shows) to absolutely demolish my wallet with as many as i can snag xD Love the products!
Bari sax 🎷🎷🎷🎷
bravo❤
Wonderful. Could you please explain how to set up the Swam Sax so that there is NO sound until you supply breath? Having trouble with ghost notes.
If you are using a breath controller, select the MIDI Preset "Breath Controller". Click on MIDI button and then "Presets"
Great video! I’m watching it on an IPad Pro. Love your app. suggestions, especially the VB3 and OBd. Already have a Akai MPK 261. Would like to purchase the Roland 800 Pro for the 9 sliders(for drawbars). Beautiful playing BTW. Thanks for posting.🎹🎼
This would have been far more useful if we could have seen and heard the set up
Sorry but filming on stage is challenging, the artists and techs are working for the show and you have to grab as much as you can!
on rigole bien avec les italiens quand même
REAPER: completely customizable and programmable!😀
What the hell is this??? Here I was about to buy a $2000, 100GB sample library for my music coursework when I can literally just get this one that costs much less (700 with the student discount???), takes less space because it's physical modelling, AND has up to quality sound??? What is this world we live in... I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't find this...
Im currently waiting with baited breath for a potential sale to complete my solo strings bundle on iOS. I already adore the double bass (trombone and sax are both dope as hell too) Yall gonna bleed me dry, and im happily complicit for all of it! 😂😂 Thanks for the amazing products! Getting a grasp on solid play (between Velocity Keyboard for on-the-go, and sliders/physical keys when im at home), but unparalleled sound ive been hoping to find!
Thank you for your efforts. I hope it comes to the system iOS iPad we are waiting for you the best musical instrument company good job 👍 I hope you come down iOS iPad
This evolved from Hadelich's live concert playing. Nice
background music was much too loud and distracting
Am I extrapolating correctly that the two sliders are set to Expression and Vibrato? (I'm experimenting with SWAM in iOS and am always curious about control setups. Lusting after a breath controller, but that's end-game xD)
You are right, one slider controls Expression and another controls Vibrato Depth. Full video here: ua-cam.com/video/Uq_MPnwhKs4/v-deo.htmlsi=hQ41j01iDTOZLugD&t=309
@@AudioModeling oh wonderful thank you!
What?!
i still don't understand how this library works after watching this video.. i need to see someone using it live in a bunch of different examples.. like what's he talking about it just chooses articulations based on playing? like the josh bell violin does? or am i not understanding this right.... also... how does Velocity layers and dynamics work.. i only see him doing mod wheel for velocity here.
Hi Maplefoxx-vl2ew I suggest to watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/osaYP7bh-TU/v-deo.htmlsi=TjieT5r6QGmcNVhb and also to read the user manual: audiomodeling.com/support/manuals/ In case of doubts, please drop an email to support@audiomodeling.com
is it possible to control the camelot output Volume with Bose Bluetooth Voume Pedal EV-1-WL ? if it works, please can you explain how it works? thanks
Hi, Camelot Master Volume and many other levels can be controlled remotely by MIDI (Settings/ Remote Controls). Looks like it’s a MIDI wireless pedal, so it should be fine!
@@AudioModeling thanks for answer. I try it more than 3 hours. It doesn’t work. is there a chance for a step by step tutorial?
@@Keyboardhugo step bay step: 1) create a new MIDI Controller i SETTINGS -> Remote Control .> MIDI -> From/By, by clicking on the big [ + ] button on the bottom. 2) Edit the New Controller just added by clicking on the ... icon next to it. 3) select the MIDI port of the pedal clicking on "Controller MIDI Port". 4) search for "Main Out Master Level" in the list of events, and click on it. 5) click on "Learn" and move the pedal
@@AudioModeling thanks….i will try it. Yesterday there was no reaction at the „learn“ function…. Only the sustain switch works. (at the swell-pedal is a seperat input for a extern Footpedal. ) may be, i make a video at my youtube-Chanel so you can see the mistake i made that it doesn‘t work. By the Way: camelot is great. I use it with my Band. There i switch the Pages with Leadsheet and all Sounds with my iRig BlueTurn.
@@AudioModeling sorry, it doesn‘t work. If i use it directly with vst Instruments, it works, but with camelot doesn‘t work. Made it step by step, but at the learn-Function, there is no Reaction. So at my next Gig i still use a Korg Hardware swell with cable…. Don‘t understand, that Sustain still works….

Hello how is the key on this ? Is it easy to play With ?
The Numa X GT keyboard is awesome. Really close to a physical piano.
Dom is such a beast at in-the-box real-time recording. I only wish such MIDI CC interfaces were more affordable.
Testing for confirmation tomorrow, but a $40usd option, SMC Mixer, is available on Ali Express (8 faders and encoders) Plastic but more solid than I was expecting for the price. Bonus, connects wired or Bluetooth (for iOS the Bluetooth latency is unnoticeable. Haven't tested anywhere else)
Yes, SMC Mixer works GREAT for this! Was able to setup Expression and Vibrato (and a few other options) to the SMC Mixer. Paired with Korg nanoKey Studio, I've got a bluetooth setup mimicking this layout and control Magical I tell you!
@@PapaBPoppin That's awesome! I'll have to check it out ASAP. Thanks for the updates!
Any estimate on when we may be able to look forward to the GPU Audio version of SWAM?

Hello. Is it possible to create a video with Player Accuracy feature, especially with Glides? I'd love to hear what it sounds like.
It’s a very subtle difference , not a macro parameter. We suggest you to request a trial of the instruments at support@audiomodeling.com
God bless you for your activity and work!
Too bad there is no trial version, we would like to try it before spending $500...

Hi, very impressive and interessted. How does the Expression is managed in this exemple at 3:22 ? The mod-wheel is for the vibrato but for the Expression ? Thanks
Hi, the Expression is controlled by an expression pedal in this video and vibrato on the Mod Wheel. . You can assign any expressive controller to that. For example mod wheel to expression and after touch to vibrato.
So so dangerous. Was very curious about SWAM. Got a couple of instruments on iOS Now big scary green furred red eyed monster of lustful desire is emerging Checking for sales daily (yes… I’ve done my research, trends been July and November… you’re not my real dad), redoing pack math, watching videos, vocally laying out ideas with intent of replaying when I get that next fix…err instrument **quickly scratching at neck and chin** Y’all got any more of them Flugal Horn pricings?

How do I synchronize a metronome with a backing track? So that they run automatically in sync.
The timeline is not conceived to be in sync with a metronome. It’s a multitrack audio player. We recommend generating the metronome as audio track in a DAW, and add it to the timeline together with the other backing tracks.
@@AudioModeling Sorry. I need to synchronize the multitrack with the midi clock for clear operation of such effects as, for example, sidechain
This really is a dealbreaker for me. My usecase involves many different setups and this just isn’t very convenient. I’d love to just create 2 or 3 aliases in the settings (lets call them keys 1, keys 2, and keys 3) and then just select wich midi inputs they respond to in the settings. Then I can configure my layers to receive midi from said aliases (keys 1 - 3) and the whole process would be a lot easier. Same goes for audio ;)
Hi, Audio output has already "aliases" , you can define your outs and when you select another card they are assigned automatically. With MIDI we are designing an improvement, that goes beyond the idea of aliases that is good for your use case but it's a unnecessary step for people that never or seldom change their controllers.
Thank you for the video. Unfortunately Camelot have a working “learning” feedback but in no way it changes the instrument of my device. Any advice? THX :)

Doc, I'm able to use only one hand with the other method too😅😎

I am reading the manual, The role of note velocity confused me, can you help me ? Page 36: Velocity: the portamento time is controlled by the Note On velocity of overlapping notes; Attack Control : The attack controlled weakly by the Note On velocity. So the velocity value is relation to portamento time? or attack ? Thank you
Both: when notes are detached, velocity controls the attach strength; when note are connected / overlapped, velocity controls portamento/legato speed
Hi, I suggest to watch again this video at 07:44 Staccato vs Legato: the role of velocity. It's well explained. If you play legato -> portamento (the lower is velocity the slower is portamento) ; if you play staccato -> attack (the lower the velocity, the softer is the attack)
